James J “Jamie” Mabin ( Nov 19, 1963 – Jan 3, 2009)
Mr. James “Jamie” J. Mabin, 45, of Mine Hill passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown.
Resident of Mine Hill for 15 years, born and raised in Morristown. He worked as a pipe fitter from Local 274 at Binsky & Snyder in Piscataway, for 15 years.
Mr. Mabin was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Marine Corps League.
He graduated from Morristown High School and earned an Associates Degree from Washtenaw Community College, MI.
He was currently working on his Bachelors Degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck. He was a member of numerous clubs & service organizations including V.F.W. Post 3401, Morris Plains, American Legion Post 390, Denville, Knights of Columbus, Council #359, Morristown. .
Predeceased by his mother Dolores Mabin in 2008.Survived by his wife Susan (Applegate) of 15 years, his daughter Kelly Ann, father James (died in 2011) of Morristown, two sisters Dolly Mabin (died in 2025) and Colleen Mabin both of Morristown. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, & cousins. Predeceased by his mother Dolores in 2008.
A funeral was held at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 6 Sussex Ave., Morristown, and interment was at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown.

Jamie Mabin died on January 3, 2009.
