Edward DiGuglielmo (11/7/1947 – 10/22/2026)
Edward DiGuglielmo, Jr., 78, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away on October 22, 2026.
Born in Paterson, NJ Edward was one of two sons born to the late Edward DiGuglielmo and Ida Calvitti.
A devout Catholic, Edward was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Pompton Lakes. He was also an active member of the American Legion in Oak Ridge and the Knights of Columbus. Edward enjoyed staying active and had a love for sports, particularly golf, bowling, and baseball.
Eddie joined the Slattery Detachment in October 2025 and quickly became a valued and active member. Whether visiting veterans at the Lyons Community Center or assisting with bylaw reviews, he generously gave his time and talents in service to others. Though his watch with us was far too brief, we take comfort in knowing he now stands guard at Heaven’s gate alongside his fellow Marines.
Edward will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Christine; his two sons, Daniel and his wife, Megan, and Dominick and his wife, Alyssa; and his four beloved grandchildren, Dominick, Luciana, Mariella, and Michelina. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Ida DiGuglielmo; and his brother, Anthony DiGuglielmo.
Edward will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s memory to Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude’s.

Edward DiGuglielmo, Jr. died on October 22, 2026.
