Featuring a variety of cars, including Corvettes, antiques, muscle cars, street rods, custom vehicles, and more.

SUN. 9/20/26 starting at 1 PM: The 2026 JOHN BASILONE PARADE in Raritan, NJ
It is held annually in honor of Sergeant John Basilone, the only enlisted U.S. Marine to receive both the Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross, who was killed in action at Iwo Jima in 1945

- Parade Route: West Somerset Street, Raritan’s main thoroughfare
- Participants: Veterans organizations, marching bands, active-duty Marines, first responders, civic groups, scouts, and floats
- Ceremony: After the parade, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Basilone Statue around 2:15 PM
- Cost: Free to attend
Weekend Program
- Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 – Basilone Foundation 5K Run at 1:00 PM, open to all ages and skill levels
- Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026 – Mass at Church of St. Ann at 10:30 AM, followed by the parade and statue ceremony
About the Parade
Founded in 1981 by the John Basilone Parade Committee (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit), the parade is a major regional tradition that draws thousands of spectators and participants from across New Jersey and beyond. It celebrates patriotism, unity, and the enduring legacy of Sgt. Basilone.
Tip: Groups and bands participate by checking in at the Raritan train station before the parade. For the latest lineup and updates, check the official site: www.johnbasiloneparade.com.

FRI-SUN, 9/25-9/27/2026 – REMEMBERING OUR FALLEN – a traveling memorial honoring American service members killed in the Global War on Terrorism
The exhibit opens to the public Friday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission is free and no registration is required.
Ceremonies are planned across the three days.
