Stephen Williams Beecher Sr., formerly of Florham Park, and a resident of Brigantine; passed away peacefully on February 25, 2013, at home surrounded by his loved ones following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Peter R. Gallo died at home on February 1, 2024. He was 91 years old. He served in the USMC from 1950 to 1953 in Korea. He was a life member and Commandant of the Marine Corps League #206 Slattery Detachment in Whippany, NJ.
Theodore “Ted” Jemas, 79, of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, died at home on August 3, 2025. He worked for United Airlines for over 40 years as a ramp service agent at Newark Airport. His hand was the last to touch the exterior of Flight 93 before it departed from his gate on September 11, 2001. Ted was a proud Marine and served in the Vietnam War
Frank William Gargano 91, of Lavallette, NJ passed away on July 5, 2025. He lived in North Caldwell, NJ for 55 years before moving there to Lavallette 3 years ago. Frank was proud to be an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
