Operation: The Shepherd’s Watch 7-Mile Ruck March & Fun Hike to benefit Women Veterans is taking place this Saturday, August 29!
Whether you are carrying a full pack or just coming out for a casual walk, this day is all about community, connection, and showing our support for veterans and great causes like You ‘N’ Me and the National Breast Cancer Society.

- Date & Time: Saturday, August 29, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Location: 146 Lake Iliff Rd, Newton, NJ 07860
- Suggested Donation: $25
Good to Know Before You Go:
- No Ruck Required: A weighted ruck is completely optional—there are no weight requirements and no mandatory packing list.
- Choose Your Distance: This is not a race! If you don’t want to do the full 7 miles, there are 1-, 2-, and 3-mile turnaround points for the Fun Hike.
- What to Bring: We strongly recommend comfortable footwear, a fresh change of socks, and a personal water bottle.
- On-Site Supplies: Water and bug spray will be available at the site.
