Roger A. Cregg Sr. passed away Nov. 6, 2012, at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville following a brief illness. He was 85. Born in Parris Island, South Carolina on February 20, 1927, Mr. Cregg was a resident of Framingham, MA. before going to Parsippany in 1966. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1953.
Mr. Cregg served in the United States Marines during World War II before his honorable discharge as a Corporal. He also served in the Air Force ROTC as a Second Lieutenant while attending Georgetown University.
He had been working with his sons at the International House of Pancakes in Parsippany for 15 years before his recent retirement. Previously, he worked in sales with the Dale Carnegie and Mead Johnson companies. A longtime parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church.
Roger was a “True Marine” and a member of the Marine Corps League.
Survivors included his wife over 50 years, Patricia A. (Clark); his seven children and their spouses, Marianne Cataldo (Al) of MA., Roger A. Cregg Jr. (Sharon) of MI., Kathleen Cregg of Randolph, Robert Cregg (Betina) of IL., Joseph Cregg (Cathy) of Rockaway, Christopher Cregg (Patricia) of Lake Hopatcong, and Timothy of Parsippany; a sister, Marion Olosi of MA.; and eleven grandchildren, Natalie, Michelle, Daryll, Stephanie, Christine, Elise, Madalyn, Joseph Jr., Kristen, Trevor, and Tyler.

Roger A. Cregg, Sr. died on 6 Nov 2012.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany. Interment followed at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
The family requested that donations be sent to American Cancer Society in honor of Roger A. Cregg Sr.
