Raymond R. Barrick passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ on October 14, 2011. He was 73 years old.
Born in Monticello, NY he had lived in Rockaway for many years before moving to Denville, NJ in 1979.
Raymond served in the US Marine Corps in the mid 1950’s
He worked as a lineman for Jersey Central Power & Light Co. for 35 years before retiring in 1996. He loved to fish and play golf and was a member of Peace Pipe Country Club for 33 years.
He was predeceased by his daughter Beth Barrick in 2007 and by his sister Frances Cembura. Raymond was survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara J. (Gray) Barrick of Denville, NJ, and his daughters, Kelley Barrick and granddaughter Ava Mitchell of Allamuchy, NJ, Marie Hurtado of Dover, NJ and his cherished grandson William (& Jennifer) Trillich, and great granddaughters Peyton and Abigail, his son’s Herbert (& Elaine) Trillich of Denville, NJ and grandson Wyatt, and Kenneth Trillich of Florida. He was also survived by his granddaughter Jessica Clark, and his siblings Marilyn DiGennaro, Robert, James and Thomas Barrick, and Kathy Prednis.
The family requested that donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
