James A. Salerno died Friday November 25, 2016 at his home in Cedar Knolls at the age of 98. He served in WWII as a Sgt for the Carlson Raider, 5th Marine division and fought at Bouganville, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima. He received 4 Bronze Stars, 2 Presidential Citations, a Silver Star, and a Purple Heart.
Peter Paul Siciliano, Sr., lifelong Madison resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the age of 94. He was a beloved father, grandfather and Marine veteran of WWII. Peter was a member of the 4th Marine Division Association, and the Slattery Detachment of the US Marine Corps League in Whippany, NJ.
Alice C. Slattery nee Losi, 86, of Whippany, NJ, passed away on November 21, 2012. Alice was the Owner/ Broker of Alice C. Slattery Real Estate, est. 1956. She was a member of L/Cpl Robert J. Slattery Marine Corps League Auxiliary and Treasurer of L/Cpl Robert J. Slattery Detachment #206 of Whippany, NJ which was named in honor of her son.
