CHASE KOTULA
He was sponsored by Tom Niller.
Chase graduated from Portage High School in Wisconsin. At the time of his application, Chase had the self-awareness that an academic career was not the best fit for his strengths which include problem-solving, customer service and communication. He was lucky to have an opportunity to work with a plumber/electrician in HVAC and during that experience, Chase realized his calling. Chase also worked as a sales associate in a Walmart electronics department and spent a summer in maintenance and grounds work at apartment complexes.
Chase played soccer in high school and was nominated by his peers to Team Captain his senior year. He also was on the tennis team. During his 4 years in the KEY Club, Chase volunteered at a food pantry, homeless shelter, and VFW concert nights.
He has also been accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars.
Chase will attend Madison College this fall.
