Richard Braden, died suddenly on September 23, 2011 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 81. He was born in Hoboken, NJ lived in Montville Township and Manahawkin before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 2009.
Mr. Braden served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of L/Cpl. Robert J Slattery Detachment of the Marine Corps League.
Richard was an insurance executive with the Prudential Insurance Company for many years before his retirement.
Survivors included his wife, Loretta A. (nee Stiehler); seven sons, Richard, Timothy, Christopher, Patrick, Michael, Thomas, and Kevin Braden; a daughter, Laura Zavala; two brothers, Edward and Eugene Braden; two sisters, Anne Doucette and Geraldine Hallis; and 19 grandchildren.
Richard T Branden died on September 23, 2011.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Sept. 26th at St. Pius X R. C. Church, Montville. Private Cremation followed.
