Peter R Gallo

Peter R. Gallo passed away peacefully at his home on February 1, 2024. He was 91 years old. Peter grew up in South Boston, MA. He lived in Cedar Knolls before moving to Randolph, NJ.
Peter was in the US Marine Corp from 1950 to 1953. He served in Korea.
Peter was a Hanover Township, NJ police officer from 1957 to 1966 and then became a Detective 1966 to 1972.
He was a life member and Commandant of the Marine Corps League #206 Slattery Detachment in Whippany, NJ.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marie Rose née Makowski, three children Peter Gallo (Debbie), Michael Gallo (Susan) and Susan Gallo Hiles. He also left four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
